In the early winter of 2010, in a small garage in the hills of Thach, AL, stood three men. Brought together by an earlier project, Jonathan Timmons, Chase Trotter, and John Schneible, stood ready to turn it all around. Ready to put in the countless hours of hard work and fine tuning it takes to play the music we all love, Rock'N'Roll. Enter Jonathan Guthrie. An experienced guitar player in the Walker and Jefferson County area, he pointed the men in the exact direction they were all willing to travel. Through trial and tribulation over a year of gigs, the band that became known as Smashley would finally take form as we all know it today. Mid 2012 brought on bass player James McCauley, to help keep the band going.
Playing rock and roll music that spans across four decades, Smashley is a hard rock, high energy, multi-talented, level headed, focused, hard charging ball of FURY ready to rock any venue at a moments notice!
